New Orleans Kitchen Tour | March 24

Friday, March 23, 2012

It's the eve of one of my favorite events in New Orleans - the Kitchen Tour! I am one of the Chairs of this event, so I can personally vouch for the loveliness of these 10 cherry-picked homes. I mean how often do you get to roam around some of the greatest homes in New Orleans & Old Metairie, touch & feel your way through the kitchens? I know! The weather is supposed to be wonderful for a stroll, so grab a couple of girl(or guy)friends & come on out! Many of the homes will feature small bites and cocktails from the City's finest vendors like Maple Street Patisserie, Creole Creamery and Old New Orleans Rum. Tickets are $30 through noon today, and $35 tomorrow at any one of the 10 homes on the Tour. Proceeds go to support the Junior League of New Orleans' many community projects throughout New Orleans. Still need more imagery before clicking 'buy' on the ticket button? No problem, New Orleans Homes & Lifestyles did a killer spread on the kitchens with all the designer details, check it online here.

  4. it was such a great event Heather, and the weather was perfect for it! i snapped several photos with my phone, in the rush to get out of the house & make sure everything was running smoothly i forgot my 'good' camera. one thing i did notice across the board - white is classic for a reason!
