College Station Texas | A&M University

Tuesday, July 31, 2012

For the nearly 8 years that I've known Chad he's been touting the awesomeness of his alma mater, Texas A&M University. And every year that passes it seems I learn about yet another tradition .. so many traditions. So after hearing, "We've got to take a road trip out there so you can see it" for the umpteenth time, we did. Hopped in the car and headed out west to College Station, Texas. We re-sowed some of Chad's wild oats at the Dry Bean & Dixie Chicken, we ate Texas-famous burgers at Koppe Bridge .. and we caught a baseball game. Not sure who was playing, but it didn't matter, we cheered for the maroon & white team.

  1. Aww bottle cap alley! My husband lived in College Station when we dated in college. Northgate brings back great {blurry} memories!

  2. It was my first time to College Station! Neat to see Chad's old stomping grounds. The Dixie Chicken & Dry Bean were really cool - very Texas.
